What Pleases Our Guru Maharaj?
As devotees and children of Sri Swamiji, we all wish to please our Guru Maharaj. We know that chanting the Mahamantra pleases him immensely. Apart from that, what else pleases him? Don’t we all desire to know that too?
A devotee asked this very question on the auspicious occasion of Guru Poornima this year (2022). A wonderful question, which revealed the heart of Sri Swamiji for all of his children.

Swami Ramakrishnananda’s Guru Bhakti
On the occasion of Swami Ramakrishnananda’s 150th jayanti celebrations at the Ramakrishna Mutt, Chennai, on July 15, 2012, HH Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji was invited to speak on the great Guru bhakta. Sri Swamiji’s heartfelt talk moved the listeners to tears, many of them monks from the Ramakrishna Mission. The below extract is excerpted from Sri Swamiji’s talk.

Can I Chant All Names? Or Should I Chant Only Mahamantra?
“I do the chanting of all the names of the deities. I chant the name of Siva more, in particular. You tell us to chant the Hare Rama.. Mahamantra. Do I continue chanting all the names as usual or do I add Hare Rama..Mahamantra to that or is Hare Rama.. Mahamantra alone enough? What is right?”
