Madhura Geetam – Prayer Series: 15

O Krishna! I Must Always be Devoted to You

PrayerIn this series, we present, each month, a prayer kirtan composed by His Holiness Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji. These kirtans underline the importance of prayers and beautifully show us how we should pray.

Mahans always wish to be in the thoughts of the Lord. Devotees like Meera, Tukkaram, Gorakumhar, Senanayi, and numerous others were immersed in the thoughts of the Lord that they were completely oblivious to their surroundings.
Sri Swamiji too prays in this kirtan that he should always be in thought of the Lord and sing His praises, without being engulfed by Maya and other trifles of the world. Click here for the kirtan.

Darshan to Akrura

The story of Akrura’s darshan started off when Kamsa, Krishna’s cousin ordered Akrura to bring Krishna and Balarama to Mathura, so that he could kill them. Akrura immediately followed Kamsa’s orders, and traveled to their home village by chariot…
16 year old Aravind Arunachalam narrates the story of how Krishna gave a unique darshan to His devotee Akrura.
