Dharma & Wellbeing and Bhagavata Dharma satsangs by Sri Ramuji in Minneapolis, MN

Dharma & Wellbeing:
On May 12th 2024, Sri Ramanujam ji led a Dharma & Wellbeing interactive session in  Eden Prairie MN, focusing on empowering the next gen to embrace our Sanathana Dharma. The event started with invocation to our Acharyas – the day was a beautiful confluence of Sri Ramanuja Jayanthi, and Sri Shankara Jayanthi, and it was a few days after Akshaya Trutiya. Gopa Kuteeram children offered prarthana to two of the greatest Acharyas, through singing Keertans, and reciting Kanakadhara stotram. This interactive session focussed on specific questions that were submitted by the children on various topics around Sanathana Dharma and practical ways to adhering to Dharma in this time and age. Sri Ramanujam ji beautifully elucidated the tattva behind Dharma, differences between Vishesha Dharma and Samanya Dharma.

Everyone who attended this session, especially parents of younger children thoroughly enjoyed interacting with Sri Ramanujam ji and were left yearning to learn and listen more!

Bhagavatha Dharma:
Sri Ramanujam ji continued his upanyasam series on this second day, focusing on the vishesha Dharma of Bhagavatha Dharma. Event was hosted by Sri Ramnarayan ji & Smt Padma ji at their residence. Event started with Gopa Kuteeram children reciting Dhruva Sthuthi and Gopika Geetham from Srimad Bhagavatam. A young Gopa Kuteeram student, Shreyasi summarized what she had observed and learnt from the previous day’s Dharma & Wellbeing event. Her succinct summary gave a segue into Sri Ramanujam ji’s upanyasam for the day where he delved a little deeper into the essence of Bhagavatha Dharma. Everyone who attended the event, especially the children, listened with rapt attention, while Sri Ramuji took all the attendees through various references of Bhagavan Nama being the crux of Bhagavatha Dharma. The day concluded with Madhurageethams on Vitthala – the ultimate Namakeertana priyan!

Bhagavatha Dharma – Day 2
This was the third day of the Upanyasam series by Sri Ramanujam ji, and the second day of focussing on Bhagavatha Dharma. This satsangam was hosted by Sri Nataraj ji & Smt Selvi ji at their home. With the beautifully dressed up Yugala Murtis, and Sri Sri Swamiji watching us over, event started with Venu Geetham from Srimad Bhagavatam and Madhurageethams, led by Gopa Kuteeram children. Sri Ramanujam ji continued to take the audience on a journey in this very unique vishesha dharma called Bhagavatha Dharma – through various stories from Srimad Bhagavatam that emphasizes on Nama Sankeertanam, anecdotes of his own personal interactions with Sri Sri Swamiji that bolster the beauty of Bhagavatha Dharma in our minds, and finally a call to action for everyone who attended to join together in sat-sanga and do Nama Keertana. We had attendees who had attended the first two days as well as new attendees who joined on the third day. They were all equally awed at the ease at with Sri Ramanujam ji brought it all together and emphasized how Bhagavatha Dharma is the need of the hour and the most practical Dharma for this time and age.

This session concluded the 3-day series of Upanyasams with Sri Ramanujam ji, which we were all blessed to be part of. We concluded the satsangam with Hanuman Chalisa and Madhurageethams on Anjaneya.
