Pratishta Day Celebrations at Atlanta Namadwaar

On March 18th, 2018, Sri Swamiji blessed Atlanta Namadwaar with the prathishta of our beloved divine couple, Sri Madhurisakhi Sametha Sri Premikavaradha Takurji. Atlanta Namadwaar celebrated the Pratishtha day on March 16th in a grand manner. The celebration started with Mahamantra offering for the pleasure of Sri Swamiji and Sri Takurji. Atlanta Namadwaar was lovingly decorated by devotees.
The Mahamantra offering was followed by a drama on Brahma Vimohanam Leela by satsang children aged between 7 to 13 years. The drama was directed by Sri Raghu ji and Smt. Teja ji.
The story unfolds with Lord Brahma’s extreme inquisitiveness and curiosity to understand what was making little Krishna so powerful. In an attempt to test Krishna’s powers, Lord Brahma kidnaps the calves and gopas from Vraj and takes them away for a whole year unbeknownst to the Vrajvasis. The motherly heart of Little Krishna did not want the vrajvasis to worry about the missing calves and children. He took the form of all the missing gopas and calves and stayed with the families through the year. The children enacted the story with great passion. Their diction and dialogue delivery were a testimony of the hours of rehearsals. They depicted the emotions of Krishan, Lord Brahma and Vrajvasis with great clarity and ease keeping the audiences enthralled by their performance. The play ended with a recitation of a shloka from Brahma Stuthi which was recited by Lord Brahma to glorify the Vrajvasis and seek forgiveness.
The Drama was followed by beautiful dance offerings by 2 groups. The first group was made their dance offering to the beautiful Sri Madhurageetham VeNNilavE VeNNilavE the girls aged 5 to 11 years soulfully depicted the emotions of viraha that Sri Radha went through due to her separation from Lord Krishna. This performance was directed and choreographed by Smt. Gayathri Vasanth ji.
The second group made an offering to 2 Sri Madhurageethams. The second group consisted of 20 girls aged between 8 – 15 years. The second group glorified Sri Krishna with their graceful dance to
Kannana Nardhanam and Thaiya thigu thigu. Smt Preethi Karthik directed and choreographed both these performances.
The evening program culminated in blissful and energetic Divyanamam. Devotees sang and danced around Sri Krishna. Offering their gratitude. Divyanamam was followed by Harathi and Dolothsavam.
