By the immense grace and compassion of Sri Takurji and Sri Swamiji, Sri Ramanujamji’s discourse was held at various temples across the Greater Toronto Area along with few house satsangs from April 6th to 8th 2018.
The first discourse was planned at Sri Siva Sathyanarayana Temple, Mississauga, Ontario on April 6th 2018. The program started with few of Gopakuteeram children doing Harikatha on varied topics in the presence of Ramanujamji. This was followed by Sri Ramanujamji’s discourse on “Spiritual Anthem for this Age – Mahamantra Kirtan”. Sri Ramanujamji explained the first verse of Kaliyaum bali kollum Kirtan written by Sri Swamiji. Sri Ramanujamji made it clear of how fortunate we are in this age to chant the divine names and how in this kali yuga even though there are lot of customs to be followed, chanting the divine names is the simplest and easiest path for all. The audience connected very easily with Sri Ramuji.
On April 7th 2018, the first event was the Toronto Gopakuteeram Children presentation. The children enacted a play to show “The benefits of Gopakuteeram class and being in Satsang”. The children beautifully showed how they start the day with chanting Sri Hari 7 times and then Karagre vasate Lakshmi and how they recite a sloka before bath, eating food, studying and chanting Mahamantra. Children enacted what happens in a satsang. Satsang is a place where Bhakthi in various forms are seen. Children recited Venu Gitam, Krishna Kavacham, satsang mahima harikatha and danced to celebrate Krishna. Sri Ramuji was very happy and appreciated the children and addressed the parents about Gopakuteeram.
