By Sri Guruji’s grace, our first-ever PuraNava celebration at Virginia went so well!
Puranva started with Sanatana Dharma BINGO Quiz, where children enthusiastically answered questions on the Ramayana, Dashavatara, and other topics, winning prizes and enjoying the learning experience.
Families enjoyed exploring the various heritage booths, Ethnic Wear of India, Spices of India, Games of India, Mapology, Languages of India, and Scriptures of India.
Special highlight was the Traditional Games Booth, where children learned and played timeless games such as Pallankuzhi, Daayam, Chaturanga, Paramapadam, and Ramayana Search & Find..
Children collected stickers from each booth and activity, earning goodies and prizes along the way, which added even more excitement to the day!
Around 350 people participated in the Puranava event. The event ended with happy faces, wonderful memories, and a deeper appreciation for our heritage.
Although the forecast predicted rain throughout the day, by the grace of Sri G and ThakurJi, the celebrations went smoothly. A brief downpour came while everyone was comfortably indoors enjoying the festivities, and soon after, the rain stopped, allowing the event to continue without interruption.
