By the Divine Grace of His Holiness Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji and Sri Madhuri Sakhi sameta Sri Premika Varada Thakurji, Houston GOD celebrated Srimad Bhagavata Saptaha Mahotsavam from December 20 to 27. On Vaikunta Ekadasi which fell on Dec 25, we had 10 hours Akanda Namasankirtan on zoom.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions for in person participation in Namadwaar, all utsav activities were conducted online via Zoom. Sampoorna Srimad Bhagavata moola parayana was conducted for the welfare of the world and health and safely for all. Around 40 people from Pearland, Houston, Katy, Sugar Land, Cypress, Clear Lake and a few from out of town were all blessed to recite the parayanam of the 18000 slokas.
During the evenings, Bhagavatam katha was rendered by various devotees of Sri Swamiji. Krishna’s Cottage youth conducted the Sampradaya Bhajans and Radha Kalyanam on the poorthi day. The utsavam ended with Anjaneya Utsavam, and Vidayatri.
