Chitrakoot Yatra Reminiscences – Part 1
The Divine Chitrakoot Dham
The natural, serene beauty of the green hills and forests; the sweet, gentle Mandakini river; the quiet divinity that permeated the whole region, captured not only the hearts of all the disciples, but also that of Sri Swamiji himself.
Such is the greatness of this beautiful Chitrakoot Dham, that Valmiki Ramayanam says that as long as a person beholds the Chitrakoota hills, he attains all auspiciousness and his mind does not indulge in sins.
In this newsletter, over the next couple of issues, we shall share some simple personal experiences at Chitrakoot shared by some devotees.
Tirupathi Venkateshwara Vaibhavam – 1
Bhagavan’s eagerness to take us into His fold!
In the last few episodes of Sri Venkatesha Vaibhavam we were blessed to enjoy the stories behind the descent of the seven hills through Sri Ramanujamji’s lectures. Now let’s continue to enjoy the glory, grandeur and majesty of Srinivasa Perumal based on the discourses about the leelas of Lord Sri Venkateshwara by Sri Poornimaji, given at Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal Temple @ Namadwaar Houston in December 2022.
We Must Make Our Life Useful and Purposeful
One must be of some use to the world.
When our gardener, carpenter, or plumber asks us for payment, do we not first ask him or evaluate what work he has done? Similarly, each night, Bhagavan (our Master) questions us – What useful work did you do today?
Sri Madhurageethams on Sri Radha Devi
In this quiz, we shall experience the greatness of Sri Radha Devi’s divine incarnation as a small beautiful baby girl from the nectarine verses in the divine Sri Madhurageethams of HH Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji.
