By the divine grace of Sri Swamiji and Bhagavan, a fun Gopa Kuteeram summer camp themed as “Bharata Pradakshina” was held in Houston for children aged 6 to 12 years, from June 22-26, 2026.
During the week-long camp held at Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal Temple, the children learned about five important kshetras in Bharat – Puri, Tirupati, Guruvayur, Pandharpur, and Vrindavan. The camp was filled with lots of fun and rejuvenating activities including making posters, paper collage art, rangoli, cooking, Mahamantra meditation, singing, folk dancing, lots of games, a fun field trip to area temples representing these kshetras, and much more.
The kids had a fantastic time learning and working together, creating art, singing and dancing, making new friends, playing, and presenting all that they had learned to parents on the final day.
Several teen youth volunteers were part of the camp and they enjoyed working with the younger children, as did the younger kids love interacting with their older peers. Many adult volunteers and parents also joined in to make it a fun and enriching week for the children.
